About the position

The Core Cloud DevOps Automation Engineer role focuses on automating cloud services and infrastructure management using AWS technologies. The position requires extensive experience in DevOps practices, particularly in service provisioning and deployment automation, ensuring security and scalability in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Automate service provisioning using Terraform for AWS Cloud services.
• Implement GitOps pipelines for deploying AWS infrastructure with version control.
• Ensure application security by applying encryption and managing certificates and secrets.
• Deploy and manage containers using EKS, Helm, and Operators/CRDs.
• Work with service mesh technologies like Istio and maintain their deployment.
• Develop solutions for scalable Certificate Management in SaaS applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps automation experience with AWS Cloud services (RDS, EC2, S3, EKS, IAM).
• Proficiency in automating service provisioning via Terraform.
• Familiarity with GitOps pipelines for AWS infrastructure deployment.
• Knowledge of cloud and application security concepts, including encryption and certificate management.
• Experience with EKS and deploying containers using Helm or Operators/CRDs.
• Understanding of service mesh concepts like Istio.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with scalable Certificate Management solutions in SaaS environments.
