About the position
The position involves serving as an Assistant Coach for both Softball and Wrestling at Frenship High School. The role is designed for individuals who are passionate about coaching and mentoring student-athletes, contributing to their development both on and off the field. The position includes a coaching stipend and is structured around a 187-workday calendar.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coaching the Softball and Wrestling teams.
- Develop training programs and practice schedules.
- Mentor student-athletes in skill development and sportsmanship.
- Collaborate with head coaches to strategize for competitions.
- Ensure compliance with school and athletic regulations.
Requirements
- Experience in coaching Softball and/or Wrestling at the high school level.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience as a head coach or assistant coach.
- Knowledge of sports training techniques and injury prevention.
Benefits
- Annual coaching stipend of $8,500, pro-rated based on the number of days left in the school year.
