About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Core Java Developer for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry, located in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves designing and delivering code for regulatory event processing, order state management, error handling, and regulatory reporting, among other system changes to comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver code for regulatory event processing and order state management.
• Implement error handling and regulatory reporting functionalities.
• Support system changes required for compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent Core Java development experience (Java 8).
• Experience in developing large scale, fault tolerance systems with Kafka, Storm, and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in developing distributed multi-threaded systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and development principles.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with DevOps model and solutions like Ansible.
• Experience in the financial industry.
