About the position

The Core Java Developer will join the Equities Portfolio Trading Technology Team at a leading financial services client. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing a front-office trading platform to ensure its scalability, while also providing level 3 support on a rotational basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical team members.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the front-office trading platform.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Core Java Developer.
• Experience working on a front-office trade application.
• Experience with Order Management, Analytics, or Trading Workflow Systems.
• Business knowledge of equities markets.
• Knowledge of FIX Protocol.
• In-depth understanding of core Java APIs.
