About the position

Genesis10 is seeking a Core Java Developer for a 12+ month contract position in the financial industry. The role requires extensive experience in Java development, particularly with Spring MVC frameworks and microservices, to contribute to various projects within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Spring MVC frameworks.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Utilize Kafka for messaging and data streaming.
• Apply Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and Design Patterns in software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring MVC, JPA, JSON, JavaScript, and API Restful/microservices services.
• Senior-level experience with Kafka and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Implementation, Design Patterns.
• Diverse experience utilizing Java tools in business, web, and client-server environments.
