About the position

The Nurse (RN) position at CORE involves providing high-quality professional patient care in a physician's office setting. The role encompasses both administrative and clinical responsibilities, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and supporting the healthcare team in various capacities.

Responsibilities

  • Performs administrative duties such as answering the telephone, filing, chart maintenance, and scheduling.
  • Coordinates and trains new clinical staff as assigned.
  • Provides direct patient care and evaluates outcomes.
  • Assists physicians with examinations and procedures.
  • Consults with physicians and specialists to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Provides patient and family education and counseling, including chronic disease management and Medicare wellness visits.
  • Purchases and maintains medical supplies and equipment according to CORE's policies.
  • Ensures all medical equipment is functioning properly.
  • Enhances professional growth through participation in educational programs and workshops.
  • Monitors and ensures accuracy of nursing documentation on patient medical records.
  • Completes patient intakes and updates care guidelines to close gaps in care.
  • Maintains established CORE and federal policies, objectives, and infection control standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program.
  • RN License in NH State or other Compact State.
  • BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in pediatrics or family practice settings.
  • Knowledge of chronic disease management.
