About the position

The Core Program Manager II (CPM II) is responsible for overseeing the Core Program Manager I's (CPM I) in creating and maintaining a trauma-informed therapeutic environment. This role involves managing daily program activities, providing coaching and mentoring, ensuring compliance with regulations, and directing crisis interventions. The CPM II collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to support the development of youth care professionals and ensure the effective operation of the program.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise Core Program Manager I's (CPM I) and Youth Care Professionals (YCP).
  • Develop and sustain a trauma-informed therapeutic cottage environment.
  • Conduct coaching, training, and mentoring for CPM I and YCP.
  • Monitor and assess training and performance of YCP.
  • Conduct cottage reviews to maintain program standards and routines.
  • Direct crisis interventions and ensure compliance with agency standards.
  • Complete reviews of physical restraints within 48 hours of occurrence.
  • Conduct ProAct Training and participate in leadership and MDT teams.
  • Support CPM I in budget management and fiscal processing.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency policies.

Requirements

  • Must possess a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
  • At least one year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Two years of full-time experience working with the target population or equivalent education/experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Must meet state employment conditions including fingerprint clearance and valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a group home or STRTP program.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices.
