About the position

As a Sweetgreen Team Member, you will serve as an ambassador for the company's mission to build healthier communities by connecting people to real food. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing healthy food, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant. Team Members have opportunities for growth, with top performers able to reach the General Manager position within 36 months.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a best-in-class customer experience from hello to goodbye.
• Provide information on menu options and the company's food ethos.
• Learn the menu and ingredients; prep hot and cold food items for frontline and online orders.
• Safely operate kitchen tools and utensils; read and execute instructions accurately.
• Follow food safety standards and maintain clean workstations throughout the shift.
• Maintain the dish area, receive and restock orders, and assist with kitchen tasks as necessary.

Requirements

• Must be available to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
