About the position

The Coronary Therapies Territory Manager at Boston Scientific is a sales-focused role that requires a strong clinical aptitude and the ability to build relationships within the catheterization lab environment. This position involves selling medical products related to cardiovascular diseases and working closely with physicians and hospital staff to meet sales quotas and expand product usage in a defined geographic territory.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies based on product, competition, and pricing needs.
  • Analyze quarterly and monthly sales figures to develop action plans for specific accounts.
  • Meet with physicians and hospital personnel to determine their needs and how BSC products can address them.
  • Observe procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab to gain insights into physician and staff nuances.
  • Establish pricing packages that meet customer needs while adhering to company guidelines.
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing feasible solutions.
  • Develop relationships with hospital personnel to identify key purchasing decision makers.
  • Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products through presentations and demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years previous sales experience.
