About the position

The Benefits Coordinator at Golden Entertainment is responsible for providing daily support to the Benefits leadership team, facilitating communication about employee benefits, and organizing on-site events. This role involves liaising with team members across various properties, ensuring they are informed about their benefits, and assisting with enrollment processes. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the Human Resources Benefits department and all properties, addressing team member inquiries about benefits.
  • Schedule and oversee on-property benefit events and classes, ensuring effective communication and attendance.
  • Conduct onsite benefit presentations as needed and ensure all property Benefits communication boards are updated.
  • Create and deliver various Benefits communication materials, including flyers, newsletters, and email blasts.
  • Coordinate with corporate Marketing on communication projects and notify newly eligible team members about their benefits.
  • Assist team members with benefits-related questions, including eligibility and claims issues.
  • Process enrollments and changes in the benefit portal daily and run benefits reports as required.
  • Coordinate the reconciliation of carrier monthly billing and handle medical support orders.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Previous experience working with team member benefits preferred.
  • Ability to organize materials, set priorities, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a gaming company.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of effective communication in small groups and one-on-one.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, spreadsheets, databases, and HRIS management tools.
