About the position

The Business Intelligence Developer will develop customized solutions for Atlantic Aviation using Microsoft technology. This role involves collaborating with employees from various corporate departments and operations to define, design, and deliver necessary applications. The position may require working independently or as part of a team to deliver application solutions that meet the company's needs. The Business Intelligence Developer is expected to adhere to the coding standards established by the department and will have a solid foundation in data migration packages using Microsoft tools. Additionally, the developer should understand how to create and deploy these solutions effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience with multi-dimensional databases, although MDX experience is not required. Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as the developer will need to interact with both IT and non-IT employees. The position is based in Plano, Texas, where Atlantic Aviation operates over 100 fixed base operator (FBO) locations across North America, providing a range of aircraft ground handling and flight hospitality services. Responsibilities

• Develop customized solutions using Microsoft technology.
• Collaborate with corporate departments and operations to define, design, and deliver applications.
• Follow coding standards agreed upon by the department.
• Create and deploy data migration packages using Microsoft tools.
• Maintain professional relationships with operational leaders and co-workers.
• Ensure a safe and accident-free work environment through sound judgment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients to meet their needs.
• Demonstrate initiative and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.
• Deliver BI solutions and document data flow and ERD changes required for solutions.
• Work with programming and back-office groups to deliver solutions.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience in database management systems and business application processes.
• Minimum of four years of programming experience, including integration and analytics tools.
• Strong SQL development experience (MS SQL Server).
• Expert level development experience with data tools (SSIS, ADF, etc.).
• Expert level development experience with Reporting (SSRS, Power BI, etc.).
• C# development experience.
• Experience with Agile project delivery and creating user stories.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to multi-task.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ASP.Net development.
• Willingness to learn other technologies as business needs arise.
