About the position

The Revenue Analyst will report to the Vice President of Revenue Management and is responsible for developing and managing business intelligence initiatives that provide actionable insights for Revenue Management. The role aims to drive topline revenue for the portfolio and demonstrate the department's value to the organization. The analyst will utilize strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to maximize returns for Harbor Group's portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Support the pricing team on various portfolios through data collection and analyses.
  • Consult on and provide pricing support for lease-up and due diligence properties.
  • Synthesize input from multiple sources to support strategic planning and development.
  • Develop and maintain departmental reports to track key performance indicators.
  • Calculate and analyze revenue management ROI projections.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify trends across portfolio and competitor data sets.
  • Validate and ensure the integrity of multiple data sources.
  • Assist Revenue Managers to ensure revenue management best practices are met.
  • Analyze and review property amenities to capture potential revenue.
  • Provide business consulting to property management using revenue management applications.
  • Gather macro and micro economic research and produce market economic reports.
  • Create performance reports measuring property performance against competitors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics or similar field required.
  • At least two years of analyst experience in multi-family and real estate revenue management preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Technology skills including proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Internet research.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with personnel at all levels.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% annually.

Nice-to-haves

  • Recent graduates with exceptional track records will be considered.
  • Experience with financial analysis, statistical analysis, and business case development.
  • Team management skills and ability to engage on difficult issues.
