About the position

The Corporate Account Manager for Bioprocessing at Ecolab is responsible for providing global guidance to strategic accounts selling Purolite resins. This role involves understanding client needs on a global scale, developing account strategies, and collaborating with regional account managers to execute these strategies locally. The position offers the opportunity to manage high-profile global relationships and drive new business by expanding current solutions to benefit both Ecolab and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Account Business, financials, and strategic direction.
  • Attend quarterly earnings calls, read investor/company updates, read annual reports, etc.
  • Know the global sites, particularly process development and biologics manufacturing sites.
  • Know the key company initiatives for the key account.
  • Map the key decision makers across the global network.
  • Develop company-specific account initiatives, based on Ecolab's Purolite resins goals and capabilities linked to the account initiatives.
  • Develop a global communication plan for each account.
  • Engage with the broader Ecolab divisions to broaden relationships.
  • Continue to drive Purolite resin mindshare within the account.
  • Articulate the revenue, funnel, and opportunities.
  • Keep current a global presentation deck.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years relevant experience in a biotechnology or bioprocessing business development role
  • 5 years' experience negotiating complex contracts and MSAs
  • Operational understanding of CRMs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Science and business background preferred
  • 2 years of experience selling resins, particularly in downstream process development
  • 7 years relevant experience in a biotech or bioprocessing business development role
  • Experience negotiating MSAs or multi-site contracts
  • Experience running or managing multi-disciplinary teams.
