About the position

Holman is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager - Retail to oversee the month-end close cycle for assigned corporate entities. This role involves executing and coordinating staff activities to produce timely financial statements, analyses, and reconciliations. The Corporate Accounting Manager will lead the annual budgeting process, long-term forecasting, and budget-to-actual analyses, ensuring that financial goals are met throughout the year. Additionally, the manager will lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Corporate Accounting department. The position also includes facilitating wires and other treasury functions, as well as performing all other duties and special projects as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, along with a CPA License. Proficiency in various desktop tools, including MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), is essential. Experience with Onestream CPM, CDK, or Oracle Hyperion is considered a plus. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, including 2 years at a supervisory level, and public accounting experience is preferred. A strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and external reporting is crucial, and automotive retail experience is a valuable asset. The successful candidate will also have experience in developing and implementing processes, methods, and tools to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience, including 2+ at a supervisory level.
  • Public accounting experience.
