About the position

Suiter Swantz IP is seeking a full-charge Corporate Accounting and Benefits Manager to oversee the management of the law firm's accounting and employee benefits programs. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and payroll, who will collaborate with an accounting assistant on client billing and accounts receivable management.

Responsibilities

• Management of Multi-State Payroll, Payroll Taxes and Liabilities
• Employee compensation calculations
• Billing and Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Coordination with CPA for tax preparation
• Forecasting revenues and cash flow
• Preparation of monthly financial reports
• Preparation of various Excel reports
• Management and administration of benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, SIMPLE IRA, FSA accounts, LTD, and AFLAC; including coordination of annual benefits renewals

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of hands-on accounting and payroll experience
• Strong working knowledge and demonstrable skills in Excel and QuickBooks
• Exceptional communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing systems
