About the position

We are seeking multiple entry-level Actuarial Analysts to join our team at our League City, TX location. This position supports our model development team and is an exam track actuarial role. Selected candidates will be eligible for our robust Actuarial Student Program, focusing on performing and communicating complex actuarial analyses such as modeling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Update Moody's AXIS models and develop proficiency in the software.
• Learn fundamental actuarial principles to analyze company and industry data for actuarial analyses.
• Prepare summaries of actuarial analyses for distribution to various stakeholders.
• Learn processes and begin to perform and document actuarial analyses accurately.
• Use spreadsheets, databases, and data sources for actuarial analyses.
• Prepare for and progress in the SOA examinations through on-the-job and home study.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background is required.
• 2 or more actuarial exams to include Exam FM and P.
