The Corporate Advertising and Marketing Director at Alaskan & Proud Markets is a full-time role focused on overseeing advertising strategies and marketing initiatives for the grocery store chain. This position requires a blend of creativity and organizational skills to prepare weekly ads, collaborate with department managers and vendors, and maintain a positive work atmosphere within the corporate team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Weekly Ads for all stores
• Working with Department Managers & Vendors to establish Ad items & Ad Documents
• Coordinating with POS team to update AD Pricing
• Maintaining and Updating Historical information for weekly Ads
• Maintaining and Evolving Look and presentation of Ads
• Maintaining a positive relationship with all department managers, store directors, vendors and other corporate team members
• Maintaining & Directing Social Media Posts as Requested
• Other duties as assigned by CEO or Administrative Assistant
• Cross training for other Corporate job duties
• Follow and comply with Company Policies
• Maintain strict confidentiality concerning all company operations
• Contributing to a Positive Work Atmosphere

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Office administration, bookkeeping procedures, basic data entry skills
• Strong computer skills including: Excel, Outlook, Word, Social Media
• Ability to learn and use graphic software efficiently and effectively
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Strong Math and calculations skills
• Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task
• Effective verbal, writing and communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Able to work in an open office environment for 8 hours a day
• Ability to arrive to work on time and ready to start work
