About the position

The position involves planning and executing operational and quality assurance observations to ensure compliance with company policies and customer standard operating procedures (SOP). The role requires conducting safety observations, reviewing regulatory compliance, and actively participating in the Safety Management System (SMS). The individual will also coordinate meetings, conduct interviews, and document findings to support continuous improvement in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute operational and quality assurance observations measuring compliance with G2 policies and procedures and customer's SOP.
  • Perform safety observations as part of the audit.
  • Review regulatory compliance and internal financial and administrative processes.
  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Coordinate opening and closing meetings with local teams.
  • Conduct interviews, review documents, and observe all areas of the airport.
  • Identify and document audit/observation findings and record them in the company's proprietary hand-held audit reporting process, including taking photos and detailed written documentation of findings and/or successes.
  • Conduct 'on-the-spot' coaching to correct deficiencies noted during observations.
  • Maintain a database of observation results, analyze data, and prepare regular summary reports for leadership.
  • Assist operations with developing corrective action plans and ensure successful implementation.
  • Perform regular review of audit content to ensure compliance with regulatory and customer procedural requirements.
  • Coordinate with the audit team and training department and recommend changes to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Perform other related work as assigned.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or two (2) years of airport/airline operations experience.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule; some nights and weekends required.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation.

  • Quality assurance audit or training experience.
