The Corporate Benefits Training & Communications Specialist position at Mountaire Corporation is a vital role that focuses on enhancing communication and training related to corporate benefits. This exempt position reports directly to the Assistant Corporate Benefits Manager and encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring effective communication of benefits programs and training for employees. The specialist will be responsible for reviewing and updating the Benefits Procedures Manuals and Benefits Orientation Booklets/Videos annually, as well as creating and coordinating mid-year communications to promote the benefits programs. This includes designing fliers for various locations, electronic notices, and mailouts to ensure all employees are informed about the available benefits. In addition to communication tasks, the specialist will manage corporate forms and maintain the Sharepoint site, ensuring that all corporate documents are accurate and up-to-date. This role also involves maintaining the On-Site Health Clinics' communications, assisting with the coordination of the Mountaire Health & Wellness Center, and creating wellness-related videos and posters. The specialist will lead the project to develop and maintain corporate benefits training courses within the learning management system, track HIPAA training compliance, and serve as the subject matter expert for the learning management system. Furthermore, the specialist will coordinate new hire training for the Benefits Department and assist with corporate new hire testing and paperwork. The position also includes general support tasks such as approving translations for videos and written materials, maintaining departmental online files, and providing relief support at the front desk during lunch breaks, vacations, and sick days. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required, along with a background in marketing or communications being preferred. Bilingual candidates are also encouraged to apply.
