About the position

The position focuses on administering and providing Level III support for various IT services within Glacier Bancorp, Inc. This includes managing applications related to Lending, Teller, New Accounts, Compliance, Quality Control, and Core Banking. The role involves ensuring effective installation of software, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and provide Level III support for IT services represented by the Business Applications department.
  • Develop strategies for system enhancements and design solutions for various applications.
  • Manage system outages and communicate effectively with the Service Desk and banks.
  • Prepare test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and drive UAT with business users.
  • Maintain effective information technology systems and applications, establishing protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
  • Lead log review, applications documentation, and provide training to Level II Support and other team members.
  • Uphold Standard Operating Procedures and Service Level Agreements as outlined in IT policy.
  • Manage priorities for system-related work and present recommendations to management.
  • Support production problems and troubleshoot with external vendors.
  • Create and maintain documentation on IT operational and security audit controls for assigned systems.
  • Analyze and collect business and functional requirements for established applications and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and deliver gap analysis and impact assessments.
  • Develop reports and dashboards as needed and provide guidance to lower-level analysts and vendors.
  • Provide judgment, advice, recommendations, and best practices on systems to senior management.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT support, particularly Level III support for business applications.
  • Strong knowledge of banking applications such as Lending, Teller, and Compliance systems.
  • Ability to develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience in managing system outages and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation and audit controls.
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with various levels of the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SOX controls for lending systems.
  • Familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
