About the position

Choice Hotels, one of the world's largest lodging franchisors, has an exciting new opportunity as our Corporate Business Development Representative in Global Sales. Corporate Development team members are responsible for growing business through effective and ongoing prospecting for local and national opportunities. As a key member of our Global Sales team, you will grow an assigned territory and/or vertical segments, and play a key role in supporting successful ramps for new opening and conversion hotels.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new accounts with national potential.
  • Work to uncover opportunities within the assigned regions/verticals.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to uncover new business opportunities for assigned new openings/conversions.
  • Communicate potential leads, progress, and actionable next steps to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and participate in sales missions that uncover potential in a specific area or vertical segment.
  • Take on varied assignments focused on generating new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts.
  • Evaluate identified leads and collaborate with relevant account owners or properties for potential development.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • B2B direct sales experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Go-Getter and Self-Starter.
  • Strong internal and external communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
