About the position

The Corporate Communications Manager II at TD Bank is responsible for advancing internal and external communications strategies and programs, particularly in support of Change and Delivery Communications. This role involves collaborating with change and transformation partners, advising leaders on communication strategies, and managing multiple communications projects. The manager will develop executive communications, manage change fatigue, and influence perception while ensuring alignment with TD's corporate standards and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead the development and execution of communication plans and strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build belief and drive adoption of change programs.
  • Research and develop compelling executive communications, including presentations and briefing documents.
  • Manage multiple communications projects of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Provide communication consulting to key business partners and develop key messages.
  • Develop and implement processes for coordinating and distributing internal/external communications.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of communication vehicles and delivery channels.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications required.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in communications.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple communications disciplines and media channels.
  • Ability to manage a budget and work within constraints.
  • Skill in mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement, and evaluate program/project activities.
