News Corp is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to help coordinate and execute internal and external communications for one of the world's leading media and information companies. As a member of the Communications team at News Corp Headquarters (HQ), the Corporate Communications Manager will develop, coordinate and execute communications that serve external and internal audiences. Organized, self-motivated, technology-savvy, the Manager will work on a range of communications projects for the Company with colleagues across a global business. The ideal candidate will be a positive, trusted partner and brand ambassador who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can make and maintain connections with relevant people across the global organization and with external media. This position reports to the Company's Senior Director of Corporate Communications. The role encompasses both external and internal communications responsibilities. For external communications, the Manager will research and write news releases, monitor media inquiries, engage in research for briefing materials, and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure timely information sharing. The Manager will also help maintain the content and operation of News Corp's external website and create media mailing lists. Additionally, the role involves participating in the review of news coverage to ensure accuracy and monitoring social media for developments of interest to HQ stakeholders. On the internal communications side, the Manager will partner with corporate functions such as HR, Technology, and Legal to develop employee communications that drive engagement. This includes managing internal channels like the intranet and newsletters, writing and editing communications for executive offices, and supporting the Corporate Communications team in producing content and events for internal audiences. The Manager will also help develop and manage the execution and measurement of internal communications strategies and initiatives.
