About the position

Our client, a leading investment firm, is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee daily financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role involves collaboration with the CFO on budgeting and forecasting, as well as managing global treasury functions and external stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Financial Statement preparation, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on global budgeting, forecasting updates, variance analysis, and enhancing the Management Company Reporting Package.
  • Contribute to profitability presentations and expense allocations, supporting the annual compensation process.
  • Manage global treasury functions, streamline workflows, and liaise with external stakeholders on audit, compliance, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in financial services.
  • Experience with management company accounting at an investment firm is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, full-cycle accounting, and industry practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive strategic focus and governance within team settings.
