Behavioral Framework, a leading provider of ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism in the DMV area, is seeking a Corporate Controller to join our team. Our organization has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list for three consecutive years and is one of only four autism providers in the country to earn a three-year accreditation along with telehealth from the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence. Our beautiful new office is conveniently located just two minutes from I-270. The Corporate Controller will play a crucial role in shaping the financial infrastructure of our organization to support continued expansion, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in mid-market private equity-owned or publicly traded organizations. Initially, the Controller will focus on bringing the accounting function in-house and will eventually be responsible for hiring a team to support the company's growth. This position requires a hands-on approach to accounting, financial reporting, and compliance processes to ensure timely delivery of financial information to all internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include administering the internal control environment, developing financial policies, and coordinating audits. The Corporate Controller will ensure timely and accurate financial closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, prepare financial statements in compliance with US GAAP, analyze financial data to identify anomalies, and provide insightful financial analyses of business operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with executive leadership to make informed financial decisions and engage with various stakeholders, including investors and auditors, to process transactions and resolve issues.
