About the position

The Corporate Controller will lead consolidated financial reporting for a growing publicly traded organization. This newly created position involves managing a team of five and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with SEC reporting, SOX controls, and GAAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and systems.
• Oversee daily accounting operations while mentoring and training staff.
• Coordinate the preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K) and ensure timely and accurate submission.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate annual audits, quarterly reviews, and SOX testing.
• Support special projects, financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Requirements

• CPA preferred
• Experience in a publicly traded company
• Manufacturing or Manufacturing Audit experience required
