About The Position
In this role, you will take on hands-on leadership of privacy compliance efforts at Fetch. This includes conducting risk assessments and developing internal processes for handling data requests and breach responses. You will collaborate directly with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate privacy-by-design principles into Fetch's products and services. Your ability to provide fast, actionable guidance on privacy issues will be crucial, as you will need to balance legal requirements with business objectives. Additionally, you will draft and implement privacy frameworks, policies, and contracts tailored to Fetch's dynamic needs, leveraging tools like DataGrail or similar. Staying ahead of changes in U.S. privacy and security laws and regulations will be essential to ensure Fetch remains compliant while driving innovation. You will also conduct training sessions, support internal audits, and refine data protection practices to align Fetch's operational reality with data protection legal guidelines.
