About the position

The Corporate Director of Digital Marketing at Twenty Four Seven Hotels is responsible for leading the Digital Marketing Team and overseeing the day-to-day marketing operations. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and optimizing digital marketing initiatives to drive revenue and enhance customer acquisition across the company's portfolio of properties. The position requires collaboration with company leaders and cross-department teams to ensure cohesive strategies that align with company objectives, while also fostering a positive workplace culture for associates.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold and be accountable to department goals, objectives and processes.
  • Stay at the forefront of digital marketing trends and best practices; guide the department to implement innovative strategies.
  • Onboard, train and develop the Digital Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with company leaders and cross-department teams to provide marketing support.
  • Provide communication, training and education to General Managers and Sales Leaders regarding Digital Marketing.
  • Analyze hotel-specific needs and create strategies for increasing revenue portfolio-wide.
  • Discuss trends and sales strategy, review results from the prior month, and determine action plans for occupancy and RevPAR maximization.
  • Develop, manage and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns such as programmatic display, retargeting, paid search and paid social.
  • Develop and implement location-specific strategies to meet revenue generation and market share performance goals.
  • Manage spend budgets and pacing to provide ongoing recommendations for optimizations.
  • Manage a balanced distribution strategy among direct channels and OTAs.
  • Collaborate with Revenue teams to drive fair share on OTAs and promote packages through Travel Ads.
  • Develop and manage standalone hotel websites to drive awareness and direct bookings.
  • Monitor and maximize performance of brand websites and audit each hotel's online presence.
  • Execute SEO tactics to maximize traffic from search engines and improve ranking.
  • Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
  • Regularly report on performance through monthly and quarterly reports to company leadership.
  • Attend monthly P+L calls and regular calls with stakeholders to advise on marketing performance.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in performance marketing roles, specifically in the hospitality industry.
  • Fully versed in hotel distribution channels, with previous experience in major hospitality brands preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing digital marketing strategies and driving significant growth in customer acquisition and revenue.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years directly supervising other associates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Past e-commerce responsibilities and demonstrative experience with tracking growth and generating analytical reporting.
  • Experience managing multiple brand entities and key hotel markets from both a creative and analytical standpoint.
  • Highly organized with strong communication skills.
  • Collaborative style to accomplish goals with high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.
