About the position

We are looking for a Director of Marketing to join our dynamic and growing corporate team. This role demands a seasoned marketing leader with a strategic vision and expertise in marketing and cross-channel integration within the hospitality industry. The Director of Marketing will be instrumental in identifying challenges, implementing effective marketing strategies, and driving efforts to maximize revenue. This individual will collaborate closely with various departments and present key initiatives to external stakeholders across our portfolio to elevate brand presence and drive growth. The Director of Marketing will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's goals, focusing on brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention across all properties. This position requires providing leadership, mentorship, and direction to the Digital Marketing Manager and other marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. The role also involves overseeing the planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and traditional channels to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive guest experience. Additionally, the Director will work closely with the Head of Creative and Brand Experience Managers to refine and embrace the brand identity, ensuring that all marketing materials and communications reflect our brand values and resonate with our target audience. Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners, agencies, and vendors will be crucial to leverage opportunities for brand exposure and growth. The Director will monitor and analyze the performance of all marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize strategies, maximize ROI, and achieve KPIs, while also overseeing the marketing budget to ensure effective allocation of resources to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's goals, focusing on brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention across all properties.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the Digital Marketing Manager and other marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality or lifestyle sectors.
  • BS/MS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with a demonstrated ability to translate business goals into effective marketing strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel marketing, digital marketing strategies, and brand development.
  • Experience with systems like Saber/SynXis, CRS, Cendyn, CRM, and other relevant marketing technologies.
  • Proficient in WordPress, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and website analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO, PPC, and social media advertising.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
