About the position

Prowess Consulting is seeking a Corporate Event Planner to support an enterprise client's interoperability compliance program. This full-time role involves planning in-person and hybrid events for customers, partners, and end users, requiring a blend of event management skills and strategic alignment with organizational objectives. The position necessitates regular office attendance and may involve international travel for event support.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive fiscal year event strategy
  • Ensure event initiatives align with broader organization and company objectives
  • Identify trends and risks per support insights and metrics and event customer engagements
  • Establish connections and trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and report on stakeholder engagement, including monthly and quarterly syncs with VPs
  • Drive communications for events, including registration, logistics, and post-event activities
  • Collaborate with regional subsidiaries to ensure successful event execution
  • Manage event timelines, agendas, and schedules
  • Coordinate and develop collateral and marketing materials
  • Manage facility coordination and speaker/attendee communication
  • Lead the creation of content for keynote sessions
  • Develop surveys and manage event registration
  • Create end-of-event reports and maintain event information on SharePoint

Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in planning large corporate events
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint and Excel
  • Strong communication skills with Corp or Exec level VPs
  • Ability to manage ambiguous requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social media and general marketing skills
  • Strong coordination and collaboration skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree strongly desired

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Facebook, Twitter, and blogging
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts
