Kidde is seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Marketing Communications & Special Events Manager for its Residential Fire business. This role is integral to our high-performing Marketing Communications team, focusing on developing and implementing event strategies that significantly impact the customer experience. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global business cross-functional teams to tailor solutions based on customer needs, reporting directly to the Global Communications Director. As a self-motivated events leader, you will assist our organization in delivering powerful and memorable events and activations. Your creativity and resourcefulness in organizing and hosting successful events will be crucial in building business relationships, generating excitement within our organization, supporting sales growth goals, and amplifying brand awareness. You will be responsible for delivering remarkable brand experiences for our customers, reinforcing stakeholder relations, and executing events that inspire confidence in our brand while meeting objectives and exceeding expectations. Your role will involve leveraging your organizational skills and resourcefulness to plan, organize, and execute successful events that align with business objectives. This includes strategic customer and stakeholder engagements, annual internal meetings, and key trade shows and activations. You will conceptualize event themes and activities, develop engaging event materials and presentations in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, and manage all logistical details to ensure successful project commitments. Additionally, you will collaborate with vendors to negotiate event needs, manage project budgets, process invoices and payments, and prepare expenditure reports. Your strong interpersonal and hospitality skills will be essential in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all participants, fostering a positive and inclusive event environment that promotes networking, collaboration, and employee morale. Finally, you will facilitate post-event surveys and feedback sessions to evaluate event success and gather insights for future improvements, while staying informed about industry trends and best practices in event management to enhance the quality and impact of our conferences and events.
