About the position

The Event Planning Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event coordination, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. This role requires a proactive approach to managing inquiries and executing events to the highest standards. The specialist will handle all incoming inquiries through various channels, including online platforms and direct communication, facilitating the entire event planning process from initial contact to the successful execution of events. Achieving annual sales targets by organizing group and catering events effectively is a key responsibility. In addition to managing inquiries, the Event Planning Specialist will identify and cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships within the local community. This includes developing and implementing action plans while participating in networking events to enhance business growth. The role also emphasizes fostering guest loyalty and encouraging repeat bookings through exceptional service. Collaboration with the service team is essential to communicate all event specifics, working closely with management and culinary staff to ensure flawless execution. The specialist will coordinate events of varying sizes, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Engaging with teams off-site to promote a cohesive working environment is also part of the role. Being present on-site during events to oversee operations and ensure client satisfaction is crucial, as is conducting follow-ups with clients post-event to gather feedback and maintain records for future reference.
