About the position

The Corporate Finance Director will serve as the primary contact for clients in a Corporate Finance Advisory firm, overseeing the entire transaction process from lead generation to closing. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to advise on complex deals while mentoring junior staff and ensuring best practices are followed within the team.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the transaction process.
• Generate leads and pitch to potential clients.
• Conduct due diligence and manage the closing of transactions.
• Lead complex transactions and advise on fee discussions and negotiations.
• Oversee project management, planning, execution, and deal management.
• Mentor junior staff and allocate work effectively within the team.
• Ensure best practices are followed across all levels of staff.
• Participate in recruitment efforts for the growing team.

Requirements

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CFA.
• 6+ years of experience in Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, or in-house M&A as a lead advisor.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to ensure best practices at all times.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to work with SMEs.
