About the position

The Corporate Finance Trainer is a pivotal role within Ag-Pro Companies, responsible for equipping the equipment sales team with the necessary knowledge and skills related to extended warranty and maintenance plans. This position involves developing and managing a comprehensive training program that ensures the sales team is well-versed in the warranty and maintenance offerings, as well as aftermarket products. The trainer will work closely with the sales teams to provide best practices on selling and recommending financing options, extended warranties, equipment insurance, and other related products. In addition to training, the Corporate Finance Trainer will ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, which is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the sales process. The role also includes responsibilities for month-end reporting and processing of claims, contracts, and general financials, ensuring that all financial activities are accurately documented and reported. This position is essential for driving sales performance and ensuring that the sales team is equipped to meet customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks and manages the warranty and maintenance training plan for the sales team.
  • Teaches the sales team about warranty, maintenance programs, and aftermarket products.
  • Works directly with sales teams to train on and provide best practices for selling financing options, extended warranties, equipment insurance, and other aftermarket products.
  • Ensures compliance by following all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Responsible for month-end reporting and processing of claims, contracts, and general financials.

  • Strong mathematical and finance skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex programs to the sales team.
  • Knowledge of financial compliance requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to help the sales team understand strategies that fit their customers' financial situations.
  • Advanced negotiation skills to help customers understand the benefits and program information.
  • Strong sales and closing skills to boost sales for the dealership.
  • Automobile F&I experience and knowledge is helpful.
  • Leadership or training skills to educate the sales staff on the available programs.
