About the position

We are seeking a Corporate Financial Controller to join our team at SEAN DE VORE INC, ideally located in the Inland Empire, Southern California. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with state regulations and effectively managing the financial operations within the hospice sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in a controlling or senior accounting role within a hospice organization, demonstrating a strong understanding of the unique financial governance and operational challenges faced in this industry. The Corporate Controller will play a pivotal role in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), overseeing accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), and engaging with vendors to optimize financial processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, setting up, and optimizing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, familiarity with reimbursement processes via contracts, CMS, and Medicare is essential for this role. We are looking for someone who is not only experienced but also motivated to take on a leadership role in the future, with aspirations to evolve into a Vice President and eventually a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial governance and compliance within the hospice sector.

Requirements

  • Experience in a controlling or senior accounting role within a hospice organization.
  • Strong understanding of financial governance and operational challenges in the hospice sector.
  • Familiarity with reimbursement processes via contracts, CMS, and Medicare.
  • Proven ability to manage AR/AP and vendor engagement effectively.
  • CPA certification preferred.
