About the position
The Corporate Flight Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness and operational readiness of aircraft managed by the Honda Aircraft Corporate Flight department. This position involves performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft, while adhering to regulatory and company standards to support safe and timely departures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain airworthiness for assigned aircraft and coordinate activities for safe departures.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance, and repairs of airframe and power plant systems.
- Document work performed in accordance with Regulatory and Corporate Flight Operations policies.
- Demonstrate proficiency with maintenance methods, techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Identify, protect, and preserve parts undergoing maintenance as per policies.
- Ensure installed parts meet regulatory requirements.
- Perform work safely and maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Ensure aircraft readiness to support planned missions.
- Track aircraft maintenance compliance and schedule maintenance activities.
- Adhere to FAA regulations and company policies.
- Support Corporate Flight Operation activities, including line service and AOG support.
- Participate in Honda Aircraft Company's Safety Management System.
Requirements
- Experience in aircraft maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in FAA regulations and corporate flight operations policies.
- Ability to document maintenance work accurately and comprehensively.
- Strong understanding of airframe and power plant systems.
