About the position

As a Corporate FP&A Senior Analyst at Solventum, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our newly established company. Following the corporate spin-off from 3M Healthcare, Solventum is committed to pioneering innovative solutions that enhance healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with diverse teams across the organization, leveraging your analytical skills to drive cost management and maximize return on investment (ROI) as we establish new corporate structures. Your insights will be crucial in providing analytics and modeling for capital investments, ensuring that our financial strategies align with our overarching goals. You will take a leadership role in developing new reporting and analytics frameworks that will transform our financial functions and support the development of new business models. Managing the Solventum Corporate Profit and Loss (P&L) will be a key responsibility, as will developing financial forecasts that encompass our operating plan, strategic plan, and rolling forecasts. Responsibilities

  • Drive cost management and maximize ROI as teams establish new corporate structures.
  • Provide insightful analytics and modeling for capital investments.
  • Develop new reporting and analytics frameworks.
  • Engage with teams to transform functions and develop new business models.
  • Manage the Solventum Corporate P&L.
  • Develop financial forecasts including operating plan, strategic plan, and rolling forecasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND seven (7) or more years of experience in finance/accounting in a private, public, government or military environment OR High School Diploma/GED AND twelve (12) or more years of experience in finance/accounting in a similar environment.
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP in finance/accounting is preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to consider implications beyond own area across functions, businesses, and countries.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and embrace continuous change.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
