About the position

The Experienced Compensation Analyst/Specialist at DH Pace Company, Inc. plays a crucial role in the Corporate HR Department by influencing compensation strategies and programs. This position involves designing, developing, implementing, and communicating market-competitive compensation programs for over 3,000 employees across 24 states. The role requires conducting compensation analysis, ensuring compliance with FLSA regulations, and reviewing total rewards offerings to attract and retain top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point of contact and first-line support for compensation inquiries and FLSA compliance for over 3,000 employees.
  • Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures and benchmark jobs against market data to evaluate internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Perform and lead compensation analysis, planning, design, and implementation of market competitive programs.
  • Participate in salary surveys, analyze and interpret survey results, and collaborate with HR and operational leaders to implement necessary changes.
  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring timely communication and updates with stakeholders.
  • Review and assess current total rewards offerings, utilizing data analytics to determine market competitiveness and provide strategic direction for benefits packages.
  • Conduct regular reviews of benefits structures and participate in benefits surveys to benchmark total rewards components against market data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or Computer Science preferred.
  • Minimum of four years of compensation experience, including salary surveys and market compensation data analysis.
  • Experience in conducting analysis of job descriptions, compensation ranges, and evaluating internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required; HR systems experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in business, accounting, finance, or operations analytics with at least two years of compensation experience.
