About the position

The Corporate Human Resources Generalist at Reyes Holdings plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive HR functional support in collaboration with the Reyes Holdings HR Team. This position is designed to facilitate the execution of key HR processes and initiatives, ensuring that the HR and business needs of various stakeholders are met effectively. The Generalist will engage in a wide array of human resource activities, including but not limited to talent management, employee engagement, talent acquisition, onboarding, and special projects as required. In this role, the Generalist will manage the pre-hire process, orientation, onboarding, and off-boarding for employees, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees. They will address general HR inquiries and resolve issues for both employees and managers, escalating matters when necessary. The Generalist will also support the administration of talent initiatives, which includes goal setting, performance management, and talent management processes. This involves compiling data, educating managers, communicating effectively, and tracking the completion of various HR tasks. Additionally, the Generalist will help drive employee engagement activities by compiling and distributing engagement survey results, processing workflows in HR systems for new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions, and reviewing payroll weekly to ensure accuracy. They will coordinate the education assistance program and lead the intern program, which includes managing referrals, coordinating recruiting efforts, and conducting intern orientations. The Generalist will serve as the main point of contact for the Rosemont badging process, ensuring compliance with HR regulations and providing support for various HR functions. Overall, this position requires a proactive approach to HR management, with a focus on continuous improvement and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage pre-hire process, orientation, onboarding, and off-boarding for employees.
  • Address general HR questions and resolve issues for employees and managers, escalating where appropriate.
  • Support the administration of talent initiatives and processes, including goal setting, performance management, and talent management.
  • Compile data, educate managers, communicate effectively, and track completion of HR tasks.
  • Drive engagement activities, including compiling and distributing engagement survey results.
  • Process workflows in HR systems for new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
  • Review payroll weekly for all Reyes Holdings employees and partner with Payroll to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate education assistance program.
  • Lead Reyes Holdings intern program, including referral placements and coordination of recruiting.
  • Serve as main point of contact for Rosemont badging process and provide ad hoc support.
  • Ensure HR compliance for employee files, I-9s, postings, and PRM/Outreach.
  • Provide basic support and gain exposure to more complex areas of HR, such as job description review and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or HS Diploma/GED with 6+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate trust, confidentiality, and good judgment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with HR Information Systems, Timekeeping Systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., UltiPro, iCIMS, Kronos).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
