About the position

The Corporate Management Audit Finance Internship at Disney offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of finance and auditing. Interns will work closely with industry leaders, contributing to the development and implementation of a risk-based Internal Audit Plan while assessing compliance and improving operations within the company. This full-time, six-month internship is designed for individuals looking to enhance their skills in a real-world environment, specifically in Glendale, CA from January 2025 to June 2025.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and presentation of various projects and provide solutions to problems as needed
• Assist Financial Audit Seniors and Managers with audit planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting tasks
• Develop financial auditing, accounting, and general analytical skills
• Work with Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP) to extract data and perform analytics using Excel, Access, and other tools

Requirements

• General finance, accounting and business process knowledge related to financial statements, revenue recognition, account reconciliation, amortization, etc.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel (v-lookups, pivots tables) and PowerPoint
• Outstanding attention to detail and ownership of tasks and deliverables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adapt behavior and approach to different people and situations, including working well independently and with teams

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with spreadsheets, databases, ACL, SAS or other data analytical tools
• Previous experience or exposure to SAP
• Previous internship experience
• Experience with Macros and using spreadsheets in Excel
