About the position

The Corporate Marketing Coordinator at Wincome Hospitality is responsible for promoting the company's image across various platforms, including social media and marketing materials. This role involves creating and executing marketing campaigns, managing media inquiries, and supporting the overall marketing strategy to enhance the property's reputation and visibility in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Promote awareness of the company, hotel, and restaurant/bar/outlets images internally and externally.
  • Create and execute social media posts and campaigns, responding to guest comments on these channels.
  • Develop marketing materials and assemble information packages for promotional events, property tours, and conferences.
  • Prepare or edit letters, invitations, newsletters, press reports, and news releases using various software.
  • Update the property website and assist with photo and video shoots.
  • Respond to daily media inquiries or refer to an appropriate spokesperson.
  • Monitor media coverage to identify potential problem areas and opportunities.
  • Support media/influencer relations outreach efforts to bolster the property's reputation.
  • Coordinate on-property visits from media/influencers, including reservations and special requests.
  • File and update press database, digital library, and press clippings.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, addressing their service needs.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting team goals.
  • Keep detailed files and records on marketing materials and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Attend weekly marketing team meetings and perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, or related major.
  • 2 years' experience in public relations, communications, advertising, or a related professional area.
  • Familiarity with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and Yelp.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in travel, hospitality, or luxury goods preferred.
  • Experience in handling difficult inquiries with discretion and tact.
