About the position

Kaseya is seeking a Paralegal to manage contracts workflow, from inception to review to obtaining signatures, including updating platforms such as SharePoint and SalesForce. The role also involves managing the legal email inbox and assisting the legal team in day-to-day operations, including answering simple legal queries, managing legal invoicing, updating various trackers, and managing legal templates. This position is based in Fargo, ND and is a full-time role.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute master services agreements, SOWs, NDAs, and contract and vendor related forms.
  • Overall contract administration and management and tracking of non-standard terms.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation to resolve conflicts in the contract lifecycle.
  • Provide clear guidance verbally and in writing to the Sales team and across the business.
  • Identify process improvement and training opportunities.
  • Respond to contract-related and other requests in a timely and business-minded manner.
  • Prepare correspondence as needed and provide general administrative support to the legal team.
  • Develop and enforce processes and policies.
  • Help track litigations and demand letters.
  • Assist with budget matters and optimize workflows within the legal department.
  • Maintain legal documents, including confidential records, in secure folders with attention to detail and organization.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of paralegal experience, preferably in a reputable commercial or corporate law firm and then within an in-house legal department.
  • Mastery of Adobe Pro, Microsoft O365, SharePoint, DocuSign, Salesforce, and other commonly used business and legal software.
  • Experience with master services agreements, vendor forms, and non-disclosure agreements throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of best contracting practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team to handle multiple high priority matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, writing, and communication skills with excellent interpersonal communications skills.
  • High-level of maturity, independent judgment, and professionalism.
  • Ability to effectively interface with various internal and external parties, including sales teams and senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to find answers to a wide range of issues for the business.
