About the position

The Corporate Paralegal will support attorneys in managing corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance issues, and contract management. This role requires a solid understanding of corporate law and exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and filings.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare reports on corporate legal matters.
  • Manage corporate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for meetings, transactions, and legal proceedings.
  • Maintain and update corporate databases and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in legal research and document management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with complex corporate transactions or international business law.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance issues.
  • Previous experience in a large corporate law firm or in-house legal department.
