Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts workflow, from inception to review to obtaining signatures.
  • Update platforms such as SharePoint and SalesForce.
  • Manage and contribute to the legal email inbox.
  • Assist the legal team in managing day-to-day operations.
  • Answer simple legal queries.
  • Manage legal invoicing and update various trackers.
  • Manage legal templates and other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and execute master services agreements, SOWs, NDAs, and vendor-related forms.
  • Provide clear guidance verbally and in writing to the Sales team and across the business.
  • Identify process improvement and training opportunities.
  • Respond to contract-related and other requests in a timely manner.
  • Prepare correspondence as needed and provide general administrative support to the legal team.
  • Develop and enforce processes and policies.
  • Help track litigations and demand letters.
  • Assist with budget matters and optimize workflows within the legal department.
  • Maintain legal documents, including confidential records, in secure folders.

Requirements

  • At least three (3) years of law firm or in-house experience with a focus on contract review, document management, and assisting in legal department functions.
  • Experience with master services agreements, vendor forms, and non-disclosure agreements throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Advanced computer skills: Mastery of Adobe Pro, Microsoft O365, SharePoint, DocuSign, Salesforce, and other commonly used business and legal software.
  • Strong understanding of best contracting practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, writing, and communication skills.
  • High-level of maturity, independent judgment, and professionalism.
  • Ability to effectively interface with various internal and external parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to find answers to a wide range of issues for the business.

Nice-to-haves

  • Some litigation, billing, and/or collections experience.
  • Some understanding of litigation.
