About the position

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead corporate-level global initiatives focused on strategic growth opportunities at Oracle. The role involves formulating strategies, developing new business models, managing inbound licensing arrangements, conducting M&A due diligence and integration, and fostering ecosystem development. The successful candidate will drive product partner ecosystem development and licensing of intellectual property, ensuring alignment with Oracle's development and product goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead inbound negotiations and internal business requirements to deliver timely results to internal customers.
  • Evaluate potential inbound licensing opportunities and advise on deal structure in collaboration with leadership across various Oracle functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure business initiatives, develop work plans, and communicate final recommendations.
  • Apply emerging data sources to deliver insights that support decisions and architect partnerships for maximum customer and business impact.
  • Identify and participate in the growth of partner programs to enhance collaboration with ecosystem partners.
  • Develop business cases for inbound partnerships and creatively structure partnerships to achieve business objectives.
  • Understand partner strategies and needs to construct impactful partnerships.
  • Lead negotiation strategies and maintain positive relationships with partners for long-term success.
  • Communicate with partners throughout the deal process to secure agreements and approvals, driving deals to closure while managing risks.
  • Lead diligence on M&A initiatives and collaborate with teams to structure integration plans and advise Executive Management.
  • Manage ongoing relations with inbound providers and monitor deal performance post-close.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business experience in technology, particularly in structuring and negotiating partnerships and acquisitions.
  • Experience in negotiating long-term inbound licensing relationships.
  • Subject matter expertise in cloud services, AI, machine learning, and SaaS applications is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and identify solutions in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong analytical and business modeling skills for market development.
  • Experience in implementing agreements with engineering for third-party IP inclusion.
  • Passion for product and technology, focusing on customer experiences.
  • Experience leading cross-disciplinary virtual teams and driving initiatives from creation to implementation.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across various functions.
