About the position

The Corporate/Real Estate Paralegal position at Beacon Hill involves managing multiple real estate transactions and corporate legal documentation. The role requires a proactive approach to client interactions, ensuring compliance with legal standards while coordinating with various stakeholders. The paralegal will be responsible for drafting legal documents, maintaining transaction records, and conducting due diligence across different states.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple real estate deals simultaneously in a client-facing role.
• Create and maintain transaction checklists and track deadlines.
• Coordinate with local government agencies, architects, surveyors, clients, and lenders.
• Draft and prepare legal opinions, corporate resolutions, loan documents, and other corporate/financial documentation.
• Prepare correspondence and documentation for clients, professionals, and colleagues.
• Build knowledge of client systems and manage transaction-related records within case management systems.
• Coordinate all releases and satisfactions required for title issuance on financings.
• Review and facilitate the execution of transaction documents from third-party lenders and investors.
• Prepare closing documents, agreements, legal opinions, and corporate authorization documents.
• Conduct corporate due diligence and form business entities across various states, ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in real estate law and corporate paralegal work.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple transactions.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Familiarity with case management systems and transaction record management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with corporate due diligence processes.
• Knowledge of state regulations regarding business entity formation.
