About the position

This role is pivotal in our corporate offices located in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, where you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of recruiting. As a Corporate Recruiter, you will collaborate closely with tech and other department leaders to devise innovative recruiting strategies aimed at attracting top-tier talent to our organization. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that we continue to lead the self-storage industry, a position we have maintained since our founding in 1977. In this role, you will manage the recruitment life cycle process from sourcing strategy through to the final selection of candidates. You will act as a liaison between hiring managers, the HR team, agencies, search firms, and candidates, providing full cycle recruiting support for assigned Hiring Managers. Your ability to interface with all levels of management will be crucial in supporting hiring needs and ensuring that we attract the best talent available. You will serve as an expert on employment and recruiting practices, building strong relationships with various teams and hiring managers. Additionally, you will provide training to managers and others involved in the hiring processes as needed, engaging all employees and managers in the continual search for talent. Your communication skills will be vital, as you will need to communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the utmost diplomacy at all times. Moreover, you will develop and manage recruiting programs, including on-campus recruitment, internships, and off-site efforts such as job fairs and trade shows. Maintaining and implementing the hiring processes for internal candidates will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring the placement of high-quality candidates while minimizing administrative time and efforts. You will be expected to provide creative sourcing plans that include traditional, networking, and web-based strategies, and proactively identify areas for improvement in our recruiting processes. As a subject matter expert on Applicant Tracking Systems, familiarity with Workday will be a plus.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • One to two years of recruiting experience for all levels of management.
  • Thorough knowledge of and strong skills in a variety of computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to learn new technology and adapt to a new environment.
  • Strong analytical, administration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday or similar Applicant Tracking Systems.
