About the position

StateServ is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our dynamic Human Resources team. In this role, you will act as a business partner, collaborating closely with internal teams and hiring managers to understand the specific needs of each role and the culture of the department. Your primary responsibility will be to develop effective strategies for sourcing and qualifying candidates, ensuring that we attract the best talent to support our mission of providing industry-leading DME management solutions. You will execute the full cycle recruitment process, which includes resume screening, conducting phone screens, behavioral interviews, assessments, and extending offers to candidates. Additionally, you will counsel candidates on benefits, salary, opportunities, and the overall job environment, ensuring they have a clear understanding of what to expect. As part of your sourcing strategy, you will engage in community outreach, job fairs, social media campaigns, and collaborate with staffing agencies to enhance the quality and quantity of candidate flow. Tracking activities and facilitating the onboarding process will be crucial to setting candidates up for success and positively impacting retention rates. You will coach hiring managers throughout the selection process to ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices, while also maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). In addition to your primary responsibilities, you may support other HR duties as needed, participate in the development of company policies related to talent assessment and interviewing, and contribute to the implementation of an applicant tracking system or other recruitment software. This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities, but you will serve as a resource for guidance and counsel to company managers as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner to work closely with internal teams and hiring managers to understand the needs of the role and the culture of the department.
  • Execute the full cycle recruitment process for candidates and hiring managers including resume screening, phone screens, behavioral interviews, assessments, decline notifications and offer extension.
  • Develop additional sourcing strategies to increase the quantity and quality of candidate flow, via community outreach, job fairs, social media, job boards, and staffing agencies.
  • Track activities and facilitate the process from candidate to hire through onboarding to support positive retention outcomes.
  • Coach hiring managers during the selection process to ensure consistent practices and compliance with employment law.
  • Monitor hiring manager practices to ensure timely review and interviewing of candidates, arranging in-person and phone interviews.
  • Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities within the organization.
  • Disposition candidates to appropriate status in the applicant tracking system and ensure all communications are professionally received and returned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of three to five years of full cycle professional level corporate recruiting experience for positions at all levels within an organization.
  • Proven track record of hiring the right candidates for the right positions.
  • Additional HR experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of UltiPro is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to project a professional image in appearance, communications, and actions.

Nice-to-haves
