Responsibilities

• Develop and update safety training materials, coursework, and presentations in both English and Spanish.
• Conduct safety training sessions, workshops, and drills for employees, emphasizing safe equipment operation and proper use of PPE.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of safety training programs through assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with OSHA regulations and industry trends to ensure training programs are current and compliant.
• Maintain accurate records of all safety training activities, including attendance and certifications.
• Provide clear communication in both English and Spanish to ensure comprehension of safety instructions.
• Promote a culture of safety within the organization by encouraging commitment to safety practices among employees.
• Manage and maintain employee training schedules to ensure compliance with safety policies.

Requirements

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• OSHA Certifications 500, 501, and/or 502 certifications are required.
• A solid background in the commercial construction industry is essential.
• Proven experience in developing safety training coursework and presentations.
• Previous experience in conducting safety training for equipment operation, policy training, and PPE usage.

Nice-to-haves

• Train the Trainer certification is ideal, however, not required.
