About the position

The Corporate Sales Account Executive at Proofpoint is responsible for driving sales of cybersecurity solutions to small and medium enterprises. Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of cybersecurity solutions to small and medium enterprises.
  • Engage with customers to understand their security needs and challenges.
  • Present product demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including CISOs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Channel, SE, Sales Enablement, and Marketing to close deals.
  • Participate in a comprehensive sales training program to understand the product suite.
  • Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, MEDDIC, and Seismic to manage sales activities.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of full lifecycle sales experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with decision-makers.
  • Passion for sales and a drive to succeed in a competitive environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in cybersecurity or SaaS sales.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC.
